Each session is 45- or 60-minutes duration, depending on your condition. This allows adequate time for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. If you have more than one area to address—such as multiple problems or injuries—it is recommended to book an extended consultation (e.g., a 60-minute appointment). This ensures adequate time to thoroughly assess and address each issue. Please inform us when scheduling your appointment if you require an extended consultation. They will arrange the appropriate session for you.
No. Physiotherapists are qualified to assess and treat patients without needing a doctor’s referral. The physiotherapist will carry out a thorough assessment, provide a diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan based on your specific needs and goals. If further investigation or specialised care is required, the physiotherapist will recommend an appropriate specialist medical practitioner. However, if you plan to make an insurance claim for your sessions, please confirm the requirements with your insurance provider before booking. Some providers may require a doctor’s referral prior to your consultation.

The short answer is yes. We are licensed by the Allied Health Professional Council so physiotherapy sessions should be claimable by insurance. However, insurance companies have different policy requirements. It is important to check with your insurance provider before booking any physiotherapy sessions to confirm whether your sessions are eligible for a claim. Additionally, some providers may require a doctor’s referral prior to seeing a physiotherapist.
No. We do not support direct billing to insurance providers. Please pay for your consultation at the time of service and then claim the cost back from your insurance provider. We are confident that our treatment services will make the effort worthwhile and provide you with the care and results you deserve.
